Snow Much Joy Pillow, Designed and Handmade by Me

Snow Much Joy is a hand embroidered pillow that I designed and stitched onto hand dyed muslin with DMC floss. The nose, stocking, and hat were colored, shaded, and highlighted with colored pencils. They are treated so that the color does not rub off. There are beautiful antique buttons on the stocking and inside the stitched box. There is a polymer clay heart button inside the box and polymer peppermint button on the stocking. I used red snowflake fabric on the front, The back has blue fabric with winter birds on snow covered branches.
 
Measures 16" x 14".  It is stuffed with polyester fiber fill.
 
This pillow would look great on a small shelf, on a sofa or chair, entryway bench, or even tucked inside a basket. The other really nice thing about this pillow is that it can come out with the Christmas decorations, but it can stay out with your winter decorations long after Christmas! I think this is one of my main reasons for collecting snowmen - besides bringing me joy!
