This PDF above takes you step by step how I have been dying my fabric for hand embroidery for years! There are many, many different ways to dye fabric to make it look vintage, but this one is my favorite method and one I always fall back on.
This is my first tutorial blog. I LOVE to teach and hope you find this information useful! Many more coming in the near future. This one does not have photos of this method, but hopefully I have explained it well enough in words.
Dying fabric used to be my passion. Everything in sight got dyed! I even dyed fabric for quilt tops to age them. I include how I did that in this tutorial.

Thank you, Paula! I love anything vintage! That’s why I add vintage buttons, old lace, and such to my embroidery projects. It makes it extra special when I use one of the buttons from my grandmothers who inspired me to sew. ❤️
