Basket Case x Needlework Therapy – a shop where you can find unique embroidery designs and products to warm your heart. I have designed all of my life! What started as just my thoughts and dreams became pillows, hand towels, wall hangings, small quilts and much more that I sold in a small, quaint little gift shop.
The products I made by hand were by far my best sellers. I kept getting approached by customers to make my products into patterns. So I did! My patterns have been in quilt shops across the country and even abroad.
It was so much fun to go to Quilt Market! I have met so many fascinating designers and customers just like you. Of course there was a plot twist when I needed to take time out from designing and go back into teaching full time. I taught middle school for many years until I retired in 2020. Now I have been able to get back into my true soul love of designing once again.

My patterns are tested and retested until they are perfect for you. I work hard to make the easiest way to stitch them whether by hand or by machine. I adore working with fabric and colors and can work from dawn to dusk without even realizing it! I can never decide whether I love hand embroidery or machine embroidery more!
My sayings are my own. My designs are timeless. I have learned to stand against the storms of life and use my super power of needlework therapy! It has worked for me, and I know that it can work for you, too.
My three now grown children are my true treasures of my heart along with three adorable granddaughters! Life is such a blessing!
